Conference Ends in Style

Dr. Kenny Broad delivered an inspiring keynote this morning about his work exploring blue caves in the Bahamas. The presentation included stunning photos, video clips and a tribute to acclaimed photographer Wes Skiles. I overheard a couple of attendees saying that they were inspired to consider underwater risk-taking in the near future!

Recognizing Extraordinary Leadership

The SUMMIT luncheon provided an opportunity to say a special note of "thanks" to NRMC Board Member Mike Downs, whose term on the board will end in December after 10 years of extraordinary leadership. Mike is the President/CEO of the Pension Boards-United Church of Christ. During his tenure on the Board he served two terms as NRMC President. "Thank you" seems insufficient for the work you have done to support and advance the Center's mission! Thank you, Mike from your friends on the Board and Staff.
